Notch welcomes Steam competition

Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson said to be "good thing" that people like EA are challenging the dominance of steam from the digital sales of PC games. Speaking to Gamespy, Persson - who handed the reins to Jens Minecraft Bergensten in December - said he did not trust a platform of controlling the entire market.
